On this special day, 25th December 2025, our Welfare Team reached out to families of our dearly loved classmates through our newly launched NSHS 96 Care Initiative.

This visit reflects our shared belief that alumnihood is family — standing together in moments of remembrance, care, and compassion. Today was not just about giving; it was about presence, empathy, and reaffirming that no family connected to NSHS ’96 is ever forgotten.

NSHS 96 Lifting Hands Initiative in Action

To the glory of God 🙏, we joyfully announce the official launch of the NSHS 96 Lifted Hands Initiative today, 30th December 2025.

This initiative was created to support and empower members who are striving to grow or rebuild their businesses, turning challenges into opportunities through practical, dignity-driven assistance.

Today, our Welfare Team reached out to two members with direct business support:

  1. Hon. Adijat Adeogun
    300-litre deep freezer was presented to support and expand her Pet & Table Water business, improving storage capacity and service delivery.
  2. Hon. Joy Omoruyi
    Business support items were provided to strengthen her Foodstuff Business, including:
  • 2 bags of 50kg Rice
  • 2 bags of 50kg Garri
  • 1 bag of 50kg Beans
  • 25kg Vegetable Oil
  • Palm Oil

These interventions are aimed at boosting productivity, improving income stability, and restoring confidence in small-scale enterprise.

NSHS 96 Procures New Land Assets

Through the NSHS 96 Investment Initiative, the alumni association has successfully acquired one (1) acre of land dedicated to our planned poultry farming and livestock business. This strategic acquisition marks a major step toward building sustainable, income-generating ventures that will benefit our members and strengthen the long-term financial stability of the association.

Rebranding and Promoting NSHS 96 as a global brand

We are pleased to announce a major step forward in strengthening the identity and reach of the NSHS ’96 Alumni Association.

As part of our commitment to growth, transparency, and global relevance, the association has contracted a reputable IT company to revamp and reposition our digital presence. This strategic investment is designed to modernize how we connect, communicate, and engage as a unified alumni body.

NSHS 96 Executive Human Capital Development Initiative in Action

In recognition of your high capacity for performance, deliverables, and improvement, we are pleased to award a scholarship for an ICT certification training course at New Horizons Systems Solutions and a laptop to Hon. Mrs. Ebunoluwa, our PRO.

This award recognizes your outstanding performance as the best resourceful and performing executive for the period of our transition and formative period (22nd December 2025 to 11th January 2026).

This initiative reflects this administration’s commitment to rewarding dedication, excellence, and commitment of our executive members.
